LIV and the Hands & Feet Project
LIV sends teams annually to assist this orphanage in its ministry to abandoned and orphaned children in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
The Hands and Feet Project is a children's village in Jacmel, Haiti that was started by the band Audio Adrenaline in 2004. Their mission is to care for orphans and to use pop culture to introduce the First World to the orphans of the world. The land was purchased in late 2004, and construction began in early 2005.
They are currently building more houses in order to be able to help more children who have been abandoned or orphaned. They are hoping to replicate the model that brings artists/bands and orphans together, with their next project starting soon in Nicaragua.
The Hands and Feet Project will provide for the family nurturing of a loving home, a viable Christian witness, attention to the medical needs of the children, and the proper education of each child.
