Serving Globally
The people of Light in the Valley have consistently given generously of themselves and their resources to serve others around the world. Here are some groups with an ongoing connection to us:
- Hands and Feet Project, Haiti - LIV has sent teams annually to Jacmel, Haiti, to assist this orphanage of the Hands and Feet Project in its ministry to abandoned and orphaned children in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
- Samuel Njiru, Kenya - Sammy is a Kenyan evangelist serving his fellow countrymen in the Kibera slum outside Nairobi.
- Steve and Susan Vinton, Tanzania - Steve and Susan serve with Village Schools International. Their extensive ministry partners with local villages in Tanzania to build schools where none exist. They also have a growing ministry to AIDS sufferers in that part of Africa.
- Lloyd and Ruth Milligan, Tennessee - This couple works with Wycliffe Bible Translators as recruiters for their overseas Bible translation teams.
- Micha Montgomery, Guinea - Micha Montgomery is with New Tribes Mission, serving the Baga Fore' people.
