COMMUNITY is at the heart of who we are at Light in the Valley
Community Church in Leavenworth, Washington. We're here for our
community as we sacrificially serve our neighbors in the Upper
Wenatchee Valley. We're also here to create a community where there
is love, mutual support, and connectedness in significant
relationships. It's all centered in, and flows from, our love for
Jesus Christ and his love for us.
On July 20, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., our worship service will
be held at Lions Park in downtown Leavenworth. Join us for this celebration of our third anniversary! A family BBQ follows the service. Please bring your own chair for the service, and fruit or chips for the lunch. This is a temporary location; we'll
be back at Icicle River Middle School on July 27.
Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described
in the Bible-a church that celebrates God's presence with relevant
teaching and heart-felt contemporary worship; a church that builds
honest friendships and strong families; a church that puts its
energies into practical, compassionate care for those in greatest
need. In short, we'd like to express our shared Christian faith in a
way that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life
at a time.
So whether you're a spiritual seeker who's just starting to ask
questions about God, someone disillusioned with a past church
experience but ready for a new beginning, or a committed Christian
who wants to make continued progress in your spiritual journey, you
can find a home here at Light in the Valley Community
Church.
