Our second Haiti Team (right) will put the words of James to work August 1-8 as they serve the orphans of Jacmel, Haiti with the Hands and Feet Project.

The people of Light in the Valley take seriously their calling to serve others around the world in Christ's name. The church supports ministries in Kenya, Tanzania and other parts of Africa engaged in evangelism, education, and care for families touched by the AIDS epidemic. The love of Christ is being shared in Israel with the help of LIV's support. The value of Bible translation is shared by the Milligans of Wycliffe Bible Translators, another recipient of LIV's support.

Locally, the church supports ministries to give opportunities to troubled young people (Royal Family Kids' Camps, Solomon's Porch) and provide a safe place for recovering addicts (Upper Valley Celebrate Recovery).
